3) Discuss all the statistics, including the confidence intervals. This means a)
defining the term, b) stating the value, and c) interpreting and explaining
what it means. Do this for each number. This will be a large part of the
assignment.
4) Chose some interesting values for the independent variables and generate
two predicted values of the dependent variable.
5) Describe what important information or conclusions would you draw from
the model. This doesn’t mean listing everything. If you were writing a

The dependant variable is feelings toward the NDP Party, on a scale of 0-100, where 100 is
positive.
The independent variables are defined as:
- Education is an 11 point scale, coded as 1=No schooling, 2=Some elementary school,
3=Completed elementary school, 4=Some secondary / high school, 5=Completed high
school 6= Some college 7= college 8=Some university 9=Bachelor's degree, 10=Master's
degree, 11=Professional degree or doctorate
- Gender is coded as 0 = man and 1= woman
- Immigrant refers to being born outside Canada, coded as 0=born in Canada and 1=born
outside Canada
- Income is personal income in thousands of dollars, coded as 1=$1000, 2=$2000 etc.
